Shandong Dongliang Technology Equipment Co., Ltd. has recently received an official thank-you letter from the Secretariat of the Chinese Organizing Committee for the 48th WorldSkills Competition (issued under the authority of the Department of Vocational Ability Building, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security). The letter commends Dongliang as a Premium Partner of WorldSkills China for its solid material and service support for Team China, which helped secure outstanding achievements at the competition.
Dubbed the “Olympics of Skills”, the 48th WorldSkills Competition was held in Shanghai from September 22 to 27, 2026. A total of 1,385 competitors from member countries and regions of WorldSkills took part in the event. China sent a delegation of 71 contestants to compete in all 64 skill categories across 6 major sectors — marking the largest Chinese contingent and widest event coverage in the nation’s WorldSkills history.
Team China claimed 41 gold medals, 11 silver medals, 4 bronze medals and 6 Medallions of Excellence. For the fifth time, China ranked No.1 on both the gold medal table and the overall points standings, setting a new national record. The splendid performance showcased the strength of China’s vocational skill development and the superb craftsmanship of young skilled talents on the global stage.
